Welcome to High Five
High Five is a fun, real-time way to connect with others on ATProtocol. Give and receive virtual high-fives that are permanently recorded as attestations in both participants' repositories.
What makes it special?
- Decentralized attestations - Each high-five creates cryptographically-linked records in both your repository and the recipient's, proving the exchange happened
- Real-time interaction - See who's in the room and exchange high-fives instantly
- Your data, your repo - All records live in your ATProtocol PDS, not on our servers
- Optional announcements - Choose whether to post about your high-fives to your Bluesky feed
How it works
- Login with your ATProtocol identity (Bluesky handle)
- Configure your post preferences
- Enter the high-five room
- Give and receive high-fives in real-time!
The technical bits
When you give someone a high-five, the app creates records using custom lexicons (com.atprotofans.high-five.*). A high-five record is created in your repository, and a proof record is created in the recipient's repository. These records reference each other via content-addressed CIDs, creating a verifiable chain of attestation.
